LKJ wedding
Lilia Khousnoutdinova + Karel Janeček wed on 21.12.2021 in Prague’s St Nicholas Church.
I was very lucky to have been a part of several stages of their beautiful nuptials - one of the first steps was designing the lovely couple’s logo that symbolizes their harmonic union. Created from a hand drawing transformed into the joined calligraphic letters.
The second step was designing Lilia’s wedding outfit. Lilia wore a hand-embroidered and bead-embellished Italian ivory silk dress, a hand-emboidered ivory white silk veil embellished with thousands of tiny pearls and an ivory white cashmere cape.
Together with the couple we also designed a small collection of personalised gifts for their wedding guests as a token of the special day - the designs reflect the couple’s respective personalities, their union as well as some traditional and less traditional symbols of femininity, masculinity, marriage and love.
This mini-collection consists of the LKJ maxi-scarf (135x135 cm) for the ladies, the LKJ double-sided silk bow tie for the gentlemen, the mint & gold LKJ silk scrunchies for the little girls, the LKJ double-sided skinny silk scarf (140x10 cm) for the ladies and lastly - the LKJ silk handkerchief (45x45 cm) for the gentlemen.
All gifts were packaged in customized wedding gift boxes with original design and gold embossed LKJ logo.
